Worldwide, up to 40% of food is thrown out on an annual basis while 1 in 7 people go hungry every day. With food insecurity rising to even greater heights during the pandemic, 412 Food Rescue stepped up to the plate to help feed 12,600+ households via drive-up and walk-up distribution efforts. They also instituted programs to provide 15,000+ meals to school students during the stay-at-home orders. But there’s always more work that can be done.
